What a shame
To be fair, people are extremely horrible in following basic instructions. Even if they had a proper separation, my bet is that it will take at most three people for it to be messed up.
People put their shit in the wrong bins anyway.

They are required by law to have these.
But if customers don’t follow the rules and throw stuff into the wrong bins, I can hardly fault them for giving up.
Otherwise, they will have to sort through the bins manually as incorrectly sorted garbage can be denied at pick-up
