Nope. Not gonna happen.
Most barriers to entry are financial, legal, and logistical, not simple efficiency.
Your entire premise is that corporations exists solely because of the economy of scale and that’s simply untrue.
One of my concerns is the cost to develop AI.
The current ‚genius‘ business model is to get people dependent on something that helps improve their lives and then jack up the price.
If investors have pumped in tens of billions of dollars, you can’t be surprised they expected to recover the investment with profits later on.

This is correct. Decentralization, the exact opposite of what everything thinks is where this is going.
Never mind the jobs lost. The effect is not that big business is able to hoard everything. Yes, they will rejoice at the reduced costs. But what really happened is whatever that company does is now far more accessible to everyone else. It’s starting with art and music but fast forward a while and it’s going to happen to everything, including the materials used to produce things.
Which is the best thing that could possibly happen.

Who do you think provided the AI? Google’s trying to get Gemini into your hands, OpenAI has a deal with their close partner Microsoft, even the open source work tends to use LLaMa, a Facebook creation. If AI was going to hurt these guys, why would they be giving it to you?
Nothing will weaken cooperations except state or collective power.
