      well geographically Türkiye should be there as well lol.

      Politicly, Cyprus is part of the EU and since the EU colours and stars are displayed they should have removed countries that are not part of the EU (Switzerland for example and certain Balkan countries, as well Ukraine and UK that is no part of the EU).

      I think the person who made it is confused with EU and Europe (or perhaps Euro-Asia?)

      Cyprus and Malta is for the EU maps, what is Kastelorizo is for Greece.

      Definitely based Southern Cyprus is closer to Lebanon than Greece. Closer to Lebanon than even Türkiye
