Das Parkett in der Nähe des Badezimmers wurde durch Wasser beschädigt. Ich schaffe es jetzt auch nicht, die Tür zu schließen, und ich sehe, wie die Tür Falten wirft, wenn sie gegen den Boden gedrückt wird.
Hat jemand von euch eine Idee, wie viel die Reparatur dieser beiden Dinge kosten würde? Wie viel würde mir mein Vermieter in Rechnung stellen? Ich habe auch eine Haftpflichtversicherung. Würden sie es für mich übernehmen? Ich bin höllisch gestresst. Kann jemand bitte seine Erfahrungen teilen?

It’s gonna be a number with three zeros. Labor is very expensive in Germany and I assume this isn’t a door from the hardware store.
I had a similar situation – the bathroom doors were a bit too low, and when water stayed on the floor, they would get wet. As you can imagine, the doors became „swollen.“ I called my landlord, and he sent a handyman who fixed it on-site in 20 minutes. He cut off the bottom, added some silicone, adjusted the hinges, and it was done. The cost was zero. Maybe my landlord is just a nice guy. Now, I’m waiting for a new fridge since my Miele gave up after 8 years, and the repair costs are unreasonable. Frankly speaking, I was expecting a bit more from Miele. It will be a zero cost form me as well. But I’m renting a flat with EBK so it belongs to the landlord.
So, did you just let this get progressively worse over time or was this part of one major incident?
