It was trending a few months ago that LinkedIn is launching a dating app called LinkedIn Love. It turns out that this trend began based on the information provided by Gemini AI, which was based on some generic articles it picked out of LinkedIn Pulse.
Artificial Intelligence is supposed to ease our ways we are doing things. But then if it is misleading the netizens, is it really good to rely on it? Maybe the tech giants should take this into account and try making some improvement so it doesn’t even mislead.
They say that the information their AI tools are providing is based on the data the internet is allowing them to grasp. But they won’t say that it is also based on data that is purely mediocre.
This is a time we need to open our eyes to at least look at what we are grabbing in the name of information. If we are searching for something, and we find an answer, especially from the feed that Gemini AI has been showing us, we should at least double check that information.
If you aren’t sure as to how to verify the information, try to look at the news section and see if any major media house has covered it. More importantly, how recent it is and of any follow story has been published there. Major media houses have their finger on the pulse and they’re probably the first source of the information.
