      Keep moving forward to rearmament. Let them make threats. Now we have moved up in scale to Turkey and the West duking it out, and we must play for the Western side. We have a role to play, and that is bringing lateral trade under Western influence.

      It’s fine, go ahead. Stopping buying arms because your enemy will buy more is the stupidest thing. Besides it’s hard to believe that azeris can significantly speed up the procurement process, they are already buying an insane amount

      I wish Armenia hadn’t bothered sending aid after the earthquake. Instead of using that as an opportunity to reconcile, and use their money to rebuild their broken towns and cities, they’d rather spite us even more. They never change.

      They can’t give Azeris anything besides what they purely produce domestically. Also these threats coming from Russia/Turkey/Azerbaijan only mean that they are afraid of Armenia becoming a regional player and having an independent agenda. This will be a major headache for them after 30 years if pure monopoly. The good thing is that Iran doesn’t seem to mind it and their interest align with the West in this regard.

      I wouldn’t underestimate Turkish weapons. Bayraktar is a powerful tool when it comes to human losses which is the most valuable resource for Armenia. Azerbaijan, on the other hand has 3x more population and the most valuable resource for them right now is their natural resources. We can’t lose any more people, and luckily for us Nikol understands it very well and trying to keep some kind of relationship with Erdogan and doesn’t provoke him.

      I am sure that even with current exchange rate of the lira and political situation Turkey has enough weapons to help Azerbaijan spam us with drones and artillery.

      Do we even need to take anything said by an ex-foreign minister seriously? If it was said by the current one sure… but from chavushoglu? in this economy? I don’t think so.
