Because local news outlets love to talk crime all the time because it drives ratings up.
Because it’s the narrative being pushed by Republicans and Russian propaganda to get Trump elected again.
Crime always goes up during election years. It dramatically declines after the November elections…like magic.
Because social media makes problems look bigger or worse than they actually are…
The GOP pushes crime and border issues every Presidential election year. After November neither will be an issue until 2028.
