Romania has nothing against Kosovo in particular. There are two variables that play out their support on Serbia:
1. Strong economic connections with Serbia including the two Electrical Water Dams on Danube (Iron Gates 1-2), the biggest in Europe.
2. Romania has an issue with the Hungarian minority in the centre of the country who has asked for autonomy for decades now.
Don’t forget that Romania was the first country which recognized the modern Albanian state, and numerous iconic Albanians either studied, lived or worked in Romania (Drenova, Ghika, Zappa, Dora D’Histria etc)
We really have nothing against Kosovo anyway, what happened is just an isolated incident.I personally just visited Prishtina two weeks ago as a tourist and it was fairly ok. On the other hand, I refuse to visit Serbia, because I don’t want to spend my money in a country that loves russian orcs.
