Definition des Balkans: Ich glaube nicht, dass wir den Balkanländern so ähnlich sind. Was ist Ihre Meinung?

I think that cyprus is Balkan, it’s got 2 of the biggest Balkan ethnicities in it, it has Balkan corruption, it has the hate between ethnicities, ultranationalism, and of course the culture.

Obviously, it’s not Balkan geographically, neither are the Greek islands etc, but Balkan is more of a state of mind.

I moved here from the middle of the balkans. Culture shock = 0

Though we are clearly influenced by Balkan and Southern European culture, I think Levantine is the most appropriate to describe us.

Based on your comments it’s evident that I’m wrong 😅. I honestly thought that our middle eastern characteristics and the influence of the British colonial era render us different than the other balkan countries.

Every single aspect is the same besides driving on the other side. With the good and bad thay the Balkans have.
