  1. Poilivere is extremely Trump like in behaviour. An honest person can’t deny it at this point. It’s basically an impression without the voice and hands.

Just remember this is the kind of nonsense you’ll get if he gets elected.

People always will show you the type of people they are – you just have to pay attention.

    > the Conservative leader called NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh “a fake, a phony and a fraud.” Singh responded by rising from his seat and walking into the aisle to yell at Poilievre.

    > Fergus said that following last week’s incident, he reached out to both Poilievre and Singh and asked them to “make amends.” The Speaker said Singh responded by agreeing to “act differently in the future.”

We’ll see how all the name calling and bullying and theatrics play out as they keep piling up.

I actually have high hopes that Canadians will reject this kind of politicking like we have in the past, but if we don’t, I assume this is just our new reality. Republican style politics, on all topics, at all times.

The 4-8 years after the next election are going to be insufferable with Poilievre at the helm. Regardless of what you think of Trudeau, he at least could (usually) behave like an adult. The fact that the CPC pretty much has the next election in the bag, it mystifies me why Poilievre insists on behaving more and more childish, confrontational and extreme. Is he not smart enough to sit down and shut up instead of risky wearing Canadians out with his petulant behaviour? Or maybe this is the restrained version of him and once he gets in the big chair he’ll go completely crazy?

  5. Pierre is just trying to seem tough, I almost expect him to start wearing his Tom Cruise aviators during question period.

  6. Mark my words, CPC is about to send out a fundraiser email using this as proof that the big government is trying to suppress them. Probably already have.

He’s banking on conflict like this to try and shore up his base by showing them that the less committed voters won’t waver if he keeps mudslinging.

I’m sure he’ll he playing the victim on this one in no time too.

If the Conservatives win a majority, how many Speakers do you think they’ll discard until they find someone who doesn’t question them? The fake dragging to the Speaker’s chair might become a real dragging before we know it.

He is a weak person’s idea of a tough guy. He will insult, attack and berate, never offering an apology or a solution.

      More like Trump every day.

Guess he’ll be looking for more donations to help him continue the fight for freedom or whatever BS he leverages this into.
