      “Moscow paid and trained a ring of insurgents in a bid to overthrow Armenia’s pro-Western government earlier this year, prosecutors in the country have said, but local security forces disrupted the alleged plot.”

      “The Russian Ministry of Defense did not immediately respond to a request for comment.”

      Apparently the prosecutors confirmed that Kremlin was involved in this plot, although it’s unclear if this is Politico’s opinion or direct quote from the department.

      Despite the claim in the title and body of this article, it’s noteworthy that the actual statement (unless I have missed something) by the Armenian govt never claims that Russia paid/trained these people, rather that the training was done on Russian territory

      Considering what Russias doing in Ukraine right now, it’s not unlikely they would try this in Armenia.

      They have been trying since 2018. I want to say it is becoming more brazen, but what they did with Kharabagh was even more.

      I am writing this as proof that, I posted this news one hour ago before this, before Politico, and everyone here is eating the information up. Politicio has been caught misinforming (maybe on accident) about Armenia, but everyone here is fine with it due to it being an „outside“ news– but when we posted it, only criticism about our name (which we dont really care for) spewed out, mind you we dont post ads, take donations or even have a political bias, the reasoning for the name Misinform is due to the fact we have no budget and do not advertise, and we needed wuch a name to have people click on it. have a good day (last response) about this.
