The PM was Silvio Berlusconi who was known for his „opinions“, so of course the yellow papers loved to make headlines and normal Finns were quite amused. All the usual Italian stereotypes are known in Finland as well.

Italians are generally fine, I don’t care too much. Some seem very pretentious, but overall no bad experiences. The ones I’ve had to deal with due to work are either not really good at English or purposefully don’t want to understand English. Their electrical engineering is a bit questionable at times, but I guess it might be just bad luck with the stuff I’ve had to deal with.
What comes to that pizza thing, it actually happened.

Really like the atmosphere in Italy, not that many experiences of meeting Italians in Finland, but in Italy I quite enjoyed being there. The food is great and the people were very friendly.

I don’t think about Italy very often. Apart from being Europeans, we have pretty much nothing in common
