Yes, they are. we call them Libellen (plural) or Libel (Singular)
yes, about 47 different ones. common near water as they are food farms for them.
I live slap-bang in the middle of BXL. I sometimes get them on my terrace. Not that often, but still.
Is it a Belgian thing? I thought they were common eveywhere
Quite a few along the day, from small to big; red, blue and green. Because of the pond …
They will disappear slowly with the lower temperatures. But it’s a joy to see them during the summer.
