Because it’s cable internet and cable internet is garbage
Vodafone = Bad
Cable = Bad
WiFi = Bad
For me aswell for everyone who I know who had the same issue :
Rent a fritzbox there and never have problems again.
This device cost 29.99 retail and for Vodafone I would say maybe 10 euro?
Its just super crappy hardware which is known for not working properly.
I had that exact same router initially, and it’s the shittiest. router. ever. made.
Really do yourself a favor and get any other brand. All my network issues were solved just by chucking this piece of crap in the garbage bin.
(jk, I have it somewhere in a box in case Vodafone wants their shit back)
I’ve had one of these for three years and never had a problem with it, but I seem to be in the minority
Cause it’s from Vodafone.
I actually had someone in the call center admit to me that the issue is the box and then axtuallY send me one of a different version that works.
I resetted it a few times and then it started working. And it has ever since. Honestly, I don’t know what I did different…
