Meine derzeitige Lösung ist ein einfacher Mülleimer mit einem Müllbeutel, also die einfachste und einfallsloseste Option. Das Gute daran ist, dass er eine ordentliche Menge an organischem Abfall aufnehmen kann. Das Schlechte daran ist das Übliche: Geruch, Fliegen usw. Ich binde den Beutel zu, aber es ist jedes Mal mühsam, ihn zu öffnen und zu schließen.
Ja, ich weiß, ein Deckel. Das hilft teilweise, aber ich dachte trotzdem, ich frage hier auf Reddit, weil es vielleicht eine geniale Lösung oder ein Produkt gibt, das ich nicht kenne.
Ich habe gegoogelt und in diesem Subreddit den Behälter gefunden, der ein bisschen aussieht wie ein umgedrehter Hocker. Hat jemand damit Erfahrung? Insbesondere mit der Verwendung von grünen Plastiktüten statt einer Papiertüte wie abgebildet?
Meine Küche ist klein und ich bevorzuge eine Lösung im Schrank gegenüber einer auf der Arbeitsplatte. Ein Mülleimer mit Fußpedalbedienung ist jedoch möglich.

As a biogas expert, first thanks for your effort 🙂 I had those paper bags (free from HSL some years ago) and normal bags. Only solution I found that works is a small bin with everyday taking out the trash. There is no other method and you must do this even if the bag is not even half full.
Biowaste bags are designed to be degradable and organic degradation accelerates their life. Same goes with paper bags, they get wet and split super easy with organic waste water.

I have experimented with many different contraptions, lids, drawers, paper, plastic, etc.
The one way that eliminates fruit flies, odor, and mess is „new bag every morning, take it out in the evening“ and that solved it all.
I sometimes use a folded up paper-waste as an origami bag. Sometimes it’s the plastic bio-degradable ones. Sometimes it’s paper. I have a bin with a lid but I rarely use the lid any more as we don’t need it.
What i have noticed is that by leaving the bin open instead of closing it with a lid helps keep the biowaste drier, which helps prevent gnats and odors. The solution you linked in your post seems to do that even more efficiently so i think that would be a good option, i am actually considering that product for myself because it seems really good.
P.S. i use paper bags for the more even air circulation.
