    1. Is the base price 2 € for 6 months or 1 € for 6 months? I’m not familiar with the margin.

The 5 euros per month is likely what the company takes (base price + estimate on margin) in addition to the electricity and taxes, the first 6 months.

    2. No personal experience from NGE, but I personally wouldn’t trust any other electricity companies than those, who product their own electricity in Finland (like Helsingin Energia, Vaasan Sähkö, Pohjois-Karjalan Energia to name a few). There have been so many cases with smaller companies whose customer service hasn’t been reliable, they have billed wrong amounts, have been aggressively marketing to elder people, etc.

    3. This contract uses spot pricing, right now we’re in summer so electricity is cheap, but once winter hits it’ll go up fast.

This is a spot-price based contract so the electricity costs varies every hour. Looks cheap, but you need to understand the risk that there will be expensive days and possibly weeks. I have one of those, but someone else might prefer fixed electricity price.
