    1. Scientists at Cambridge have begun work that is pinpointing changes in cells many years before they develop into tumours. — [Cancer signs could be spotted years before symptoms, says new research institute](https://www.theguardian.com/science/2024/mar/31/cancer-signs-could-be-spotted-years-before-symptoms-says-new-research-institute)

“Then doctors find they are struggling to treat a tumour which, by then, has spread through a patient’s body. We need a different approach, one that can detect a person at risk of cancer early on using tests that can be given to large numbers of people.”

Yeah! The first sign is drinking a Diet Coke or consuming anything with ASPARTAME in it.

2nd sign is not consuming THC.

3rd sign is not consuming B3 Niacinamide.

I remember reading an article in Wired several years ago that effectively argued that we basically already have the cure for most forms of cancer – regular annual screening. The theory was that the massive resources that we put into researching ‘cures’ for end stage cancer would be better deployed with better, universal cancer screening.

I’m not sure if there was some journalistic license with that interpretation, but this study seems to suggest there was some merit to the approach.
