      A Russian man was arrested for sexually assaulting a Korean woman in a club at Hongdae.

      Seoul’s Mapo Police Station stated on the 7th that the man of Russian nationality, Mr. A, under rape accusations by criminal law has been detained.

      According to the police, Mr. A sexually assaulted the woman on the stairway of a club building near Hongik Univ. station at around 5:50 AM on the 1st and absconded. He was arrested by an officer had been investigating the area after receiving reports.

      The police are planning to handover Mr. A to the prosecution on the 8th.
