    Note: This was posted a few days ago. Since this issue is political in nature, the mods removed it and asked to resubmit on a Thursday. In the previous post (the second image that is reposted here) I defined a fairness score based on US racial demographics. I also got a few suggestions that the base of fairness should be the lawyer demographics (as the available pool of candidates to pick from). So I made the first picture based on that metric.

  4. The very fact that statistics are being compiled on the racial affiliation of federal judges shows how far we are from a future in which a person is judged solely on their ability.
