Ich bin irgendwo in der Nähe von Kuopio unterwegs. Heute Abend bin ich mit dem Boot (nicht mit dem mit Motor) vor Sonnenuntergang angeln gegangen. Aber ich habe nichts gefangen. Es ist mein erstes Mal. Ich glaube, ich habe etwas falsch gemacht, ich weiß nur nicht, was es ist. Als ich dachte, es sollte, kann ich langsam oder schnell zurückfahren? Irgendwelche Ratschläge? Danke

You rarely get anything, it is not easy. Try with rod, float and hook with a worm, it should be easier.
Things that might be wrong:
– you were fishing where fish do not like to be
– you had the wrong kind of lure – different lures work in different color water and different types of fish
– your lure was in wrong depth (people sometimes use small sonars to find the fish)
– you were fishing at the wrong time – although around sunset is usually good
Or maybe the fish were tired because of warm weather and didn’t want to catch your lure, you never know.
Going out to completely new place to fish can be hard. Pikes eat almost anything if they are eating but you need to know where they at. They should be fairly easy to catch with colourfull minnow spoons near the willows given they are eating and there. I’ve got some good perch in clear waters with natural or blue/silver coloured bete lotto or the abu equelevant. Also säynävä(emerging says google) might take them. Depending on lake worm fishing might get you 1-2kg bream. Some days the fish eat early in the morning, sometimes in the evening. You just either have to fish until you get fish or find someone willing to share their secrets on that lake.
