The reason it’s so problematic is because it’s totally a means to launder foreign and corrupt money. Russia or Saudi Arabia cannot give money directly to Trump without triggering a lot of red flags. But they can buy truth social shares, NFTs, sneakers, bibles, etc….

It’s also a means to move his own money into an untouchable „campaign fund“. I mean, the court could seize it, but then he’d cry bloody murder about election interference.
