Kann mir jemand erklären, was diese Maschine in der Waschküche macht? Die Einleitung, die ich auf der offiziellen Website gesehen habe, lautet „Perinteinen kiinteistöpesulan kolmitelainen kylmämankeli“, aber wenn sie ins Englische als „Traditioneller Kaltanker mit drei Spulen für die Grundstücksreinigung“ übersetzt wird, verstehe ich sie immer noch nicht. Aber es scheint mir, dass es zum Trocknen von Kleidung oder Teppichen aufgerollt wird? Kann jemand seine wahre Funktion im Detail erklären? Vielleicht ist das eine dumme Frage, aber ich habe noch nie eine solche Maschine benutzt.

this is used to fold your sweaters so they fit in a *really* small space!
The English translation I found for the name of the apparatus is ‚mangle‘.
It is used to smooth out bed sheets. Kind of like ironing, but with pretty much just applying pressure and if I remember right, a tiny amount of moisture. (not sure on the latter one).
Smaller versions were available for use in apartments. My childhood home had one.
