This development comes amid growing advancements in fusion energy. For example, US-based Zap Energy achieved plasma electron temperatures of 1-3 keV (20 to 66 million degrees Fahrenheit) in April, joining the ranks of technologies that have surpassed the Sun’s core temperature of 27 million degrees Fahrenheit.
