Ich hatte vor, für zwei Wochen nach Spanien zu fahren, aber Touristen sind dort anscheinend nicht willkommen. Ich frage mich, ob das allgemein so ist. Ich möchte mit meiner Familie nicht an einen Ort fahren, wo wir als Touristen eingeschüchtert werden. Bitte erklären Sie, ob das die wahre Einstellung der Spanier ist.

  1. Tourists are welcome. As long as you respect the local lifestyle and nature. If you understand you’re not in a theme park or a resort (unless you’re in an actual one), then you’d be more than welcome.

    I truly believe Spain is the most beautiful country in the world. I fell in love with Spain teaching medieval history. Seeing it for the first time almost felt like a religious experience. It is so beautiful, filled with culture, history, and art. When I got home I started following this sub, and now feel, due to articles like this and frequent posts sharing a similar sentiment, as if foreigners are actually somewhat unwelcome. If I had never seen articles like this, I would have visited Spain over and over again.
