Hallo zusammen. Ich bin zufällig auf eine Video eines berühmten türkischen Youtubers. Ich war schockiert, weil er im Allgemeinen keine Videos über Politik, sondern über Religion macht (er ist Agnostiker). Er ist als jemand bekannt, der sich durch das Lesen unzähliger Bücher verbessert hat. Ich sage das, weil er kürzlich durch Diskussionen und "gewinnen" gegen Islamisten.
Jetzt werde ich ehrlich sein. Ich bin Türke und dieses Thema verwirrt mich sehr. Ich muss sagen ich leugne den Völkermord nicht und ich habe nicht den Luxus, das zu tun, da meine Vorfahren 1944 von der Krim verbannt wurden, die Familie meiner Mutter kam vor kurzem in die Türkei. Allerdings habe ich noch viele Fragen
Natürlich wollte ich das Video sehen. Er ist berühmt für seine Ehrlichkeit und dafür, dass er bei jedem Vortrag Quellen angibt. Ich wollte hören, was er zu sagen hat. Das Video dauert 50 Minuten und enthält englische Untertitel sowie die historischen Quellen, auf die er sich bezieht.
Kurz gesagt, er bestreitet, dass dies als Völkermord angesehen wird. Jetzt habe ich nicht das Wissen, um die Dinge zu widerlegen, die er später im Video sagt, und dies ist einer der Gründe, warum ich diese Beiträge verfasst habe. Da das Video Untertitel hat, würde ich mich freuen, wenn jemand auf eine Erfindung, Lüge oder Manipulation hinweist, falls sie überhaupt existiert. Insbesondere von Anfang an ist mir etwas aufgefallen. Von 3.00 bis 3.40 spricht er über "und in keinem Fall konnten sie es schaffen, ein Reich zu errichten, das den Namen „Armenien“ trug oder umfassend genug war, um das Herkunft des heutigen Armenien"Ich bin kein Historiker, aber was ist mit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Königreich_Armenien_(Antike)) „Ich war schockiert, eine solche Aussage von jemandem wie ihm zu hören. His arguments between 3:00-3:40 are the dumbest thing I’ve heard. Yes we call ourselves hay and we call Armenia Hayastan but the idea that these two can’t equate to each other because they have different names are dumb af.
1.In Greek the name for Greece is Hellas, does that mean that the greeks who live there aren’t the real natives of the land
2.It’s funny how he’s albanian-Turkish and brings up this argument because Albania in albanian is called “Shqipëria”.
The names for countries in different languages can stem from different reasons regarding how the other people who met them for the first time perceived them as, geographical location of the people etc.
Here are one of the explanations as to why we are called Armenians and not Hay:s in english:
“Hayastan was given the name Armenia by surrounding states, as it was the name of the strongest tribe living in the historic Armenian lands, who called themselves Armens. It is derived from Armenak/Aram (great-grandson of Haik’s great-grandson”
It could be that when the greeks stumbled upon the Armenians for the first time they met the dominant armenian tribe at that time. It’s also really important to distinguish Tribe from a different ethnicity. The Kurds have different tribes who speak different dialects and have different cultures (soranis,kurmanji,feyli etc.) but they are all Kurds. The armenians did not adhere as long to the tribal system.
If the said youtuber could read, he would be very upset.

Funny thing, the Turkish guy that used to do the cooking things with really big food items, like burger, and that huge smile he always maintains. Who became ultra-famous.
He is also “not political” but from What I remember he also posted on April 24 a post of himself with a Turkish flag, and the captions being “Kim Kardashian should stop lying”.
So nothing new for us.
Most Turkish people are hopeless unfortunately. The indoctrination starts at an early age and clearly people become more hateful and ignorant the older they get.
