These are fairly common. It used to be in the remote mountains far away from civilisations, but due to global warming, their habitat is affected, and they are now common in areas close to civilisation.

These are considered dangerous because they are very protective of their habitat/ personal space, just like any Norwegian human. Invading their private space or destroying their habitat will result in a catestropjic effect. This is why engineers are careful of where they build the tunnels, and the Sami people are against installing windmills in some of the mountains.

Even though the human face is the most commonly observed pattern, I have seen a pattern of a chicken or any bird in the Lysefjord area after Prikestolen.
