The % of new jobs that were listed as remote is up 10% year over year, and 31% from a year ago. After a decline for more than a year, remote jobs have been on an uptrend.
This trend is even more pronounced in big public companies where the % of new jobs that are remote is almost near its all time high in 2022
Note that this study only looked at % not raw number of remote jobs

I don’t think that remote jobs are making a come back. I think it is just the reluctant realisation by more companies that they can’t attract good people to the office without incentive.
That incentive is either financial or practical i.e. fully remote or hybrid working condition.

I WFH 100%, have since COVID, was like 40% before then.
I can’t imagine having to put on pants and commute to work anymore, it seems absolutely barbaric.
I would think companies gain employee loyalty by offering WFH positions, at least as long as they are in the minority.

Job postings advertise as remote, doesn’t mean they are.
