Submission statement: at first I thought „surely he has the picture there as a reminder of what he’s fighting to avoid“. But it’s not that. It’s to show deep learning is unstoppable.

Um. I’ve so far gotten a good impression from Dario Amodei, but this at least shows that he’s *terrible* at PR.

Maybe that should make us trust him more, because he’s more likely just telling us the truth instead of hiding behind a slick facade? Or maybe it’s just straight up worrying, because the dude has a picture of a robot destroying a city in his office?
