Auch ohne Verspätung wäre es unmöglich, den Anschlusszug vom gleichen Bahnsteig (Nr. 3) zu erreichen. Das ist mir vor einem Jahr auf der gleichen Strecke und der gleichen Verbindung schon einmal passiert. Ich dachte zunächst, dass ich den Anschluss aufgrund einer Verspätung nicht erreichen könnte, aber anscheinend gibt es einen Bug 🐞 in der db-App. Wenn ich nach einer anderen Alternative suche, steht dort „Eine bessere Alternative ist nicht vorhanden. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, Ihre Reise mit der aktuellen Option fortzusetzen“ 🥲. Ist Ihnen das auch schon passiert?

I suspect this is already an alternative, which was selected when the delay of the first train was lower. Sometimes the alternatives part of the app can get stuck and not give you any better alternative, so it is always good to check there normal planner from the next station you’ll arrive at.

Not necessarily so. I don’t know if it’s the case here, but it’s possible to have two trains arrive and depart from the same track, but different sections. I don’t see that often in Germany to be fair, but it’s more common in the Netherlands.
The timing is definitely suspect though, and that points towards a mistake in encoding the schedule into the IT system.
