Montenegros Strände – verlassener Müll. Ich bin ein nomadischer Besucher, der hier zwei Monate verbringt. Ich säubere jeden Tag die Strände. Und jeden Tag sehe ich, wie die Einheimischen ihre eigenen Strände buchstäblich verwüsten. Was ist hier los?

Forgetting something— okay, complacent, it happens, especially with kids, but 3 groups of people abandoned everything they came with. Matt, towels, umbrella. That’s insane to me. I’ve never seen this anywhere else. Biggest offenders are cigarette smokers and people with children. They let their kids litter everywhere, and don’t make sure they’re picking up after them. And smokers just throw butts anywhere. It’s just.. I’ve never seen this. Not in the U.S. Not in Brazil. Not it Turkey. Not in Italy. Not in Portugal. Not in France. I’m sure some places are worse but this is such a beautiful country. Why?

Dude, the people of this country are largely lobotomized idiots and I am saying that as someone born and raised here. A week ago I visited Žabljak and witnessed a woman in the car in front of me eating candy and throwing out the packaging as she ate into the forest. There needs to be massive punishments introduced for littering with strong enforcement, it’s the only way to deal with these ecologically unconscious zombies
