So his Handful of Spineless Voters who LARP as Gravy Seals will lay down their middle class lives for Trump?
I have a feeling it will be like it is when I meet one of them in the wild being a 280lb 6 foot man.
They don’t have the backbone to back up their mouths and shut up quickly when confronted by an equal or greater force.

Yes, he did. Get over it. If you still support him you are supporting a treasonous foreign whore and no longer are allowed to call yourself a patriot.

Although he spouts a lot of stupid shit, no that’s not what he said.

Not for the „country,“ but for the auto industry:
Meriam Webster
bloodbath: a major economic disaster

It was a part of his previous “tough on China” trade stance. The idea is that without him in office, domestic industry would get killed by foreign competition. Specifically, the auto industry but also (somehow) the economy as a whole as well.
Hence, the bloodbath. It’s another over the top statement that he seems to favor as part of the ‘no such thing as bad press’ concept of media. Bombastic statements get headlines. I am more interested in what his actual policy is, and moreover how shortsighted it may well be.

When you instigated a violent uprising already, perhaps “bloodbath” isn’t a word you should be throwing around.

Of all the things the media pushes of Trump out of context, this has to be the cake. He’s got you guys hook, line, and sinker.

Economy is booming, he’s an idiot

To be fair that president was talking about economic things but he was talking about xenophobic sentiment. It’s just as easy to point out that the context could have been a bloodbath in terms of foreign powers. I mean the dude just got done saying stuff about China and about how he was trying to block foreign nations from “ invading“ economy.
However, at the same time I don’t see any reason why he should have ever used that specific word at all. I think the problem is that he doesn’t realize that he needs to control his word choice because of the political office that he might occupy.
Basically he doesn’t understand what tact is

In fairness, he was talking about how the auto industry would be a bloodbath if he didn’t get elected. We have enough idiot things that he said that we don’t have to make up shit.

“We’re going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not going to be able to sell those guys if I get elected,” Trump said during a rally in Vandalia, Ohio. “Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole – that’s gonna be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That’ll be the least of it.”
It’s not like Trump is known for speaking in code, dog whistles or vauge threats or anything /s

His supporters have been saying for months now that if Trump isn’t reelected there will be a civil war and blood will flow in the streets. His supporters know exactly what he means. I’m sure there were guys running around Germany in the 1930’s saying that Hitler wasn’t talking about actual people poisoning the blood of the Fatherland and that ridding the country of vermin meant that foreign goods would no longer have a place in German stores. Come on guys. It is what it is. Those words a bloodbath for the whole. A bloodbath for the country means a bloodbath for the whole country, not just the automobile industry.
