Hmmm might be a preference thing but I hate those pink stones they are using their ugly and have holes in them

I think Romania has better architecture at least the few good looking buildings they have look miles better than ours

Soviet or European architecture? Goris is very European for example

    3. In Yerevan, 100%

Outside of Yerevan it’s disgusting, painful to look at consisting of ugly bricks smothered together with cement without any outer coating usually. Especially because many villages in places like Tavush and Lori are like half Soviet, half 19th century architecture, so it ruins the whole vibe of villages.

    4. Arguably the most unique. That pink tufa really makes for a nice ambiance during the sunset.

Not soviet. This were designed by Armenian architects on top of our thousand year old history. Just because it was built during soviet era doesn’t mean its soviet architecture. Soviet architecture is brutalist architecture with square cinder blocks stacked on top of each other, and not these.

    6. 1. One of my favourite YouTube videos showcasing Yerevan’s cool architecture is this video taken from a car. I just like the style and design of this whole stretch he filmed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9h3DsXEXB4

      2. Have you seen the Georgian spa town of Tskaltubo? It has so many resorts with really unique Soviet-era architecture. I always loved this building: https://c8.alamy.com/comp/2HN1WBW/abandoned-soviet-spa-resort-miner-near-the-kutaisi-city-georgia-2HN1WBW.jpg

Yes but you skip some of the most beautiful: the russian mall, metro stations: republic square and the metro station next to the opera, the conservatory, the mother armenia and victory park, the cascade complex, and the old concert hall next to the genocide memorial
