I think they can do a better job of integrating the design with the Cascade. Also we don’t know how it will look like without the greenery and the nonexistent disk building next to it.
But this is a matter of taste, some will like it and some won’t. You can’t please everyone.
I would rather the stairs go all the way up,but this is better than nothing I guess
Looks really nice, though they should really pressure wash the cascade, the concrete has changed colors.
Bland is how I will describe it. Ofc better than the current state (almost everything would be tbh) but nothing really that wows. And what is this fetishism of trying to fry people under the scorching sun of central Yerevan? Is it really that hard to construct some sort of cover? Maybe smth retractable that is there in the afternoon and then offers a clear sky view at night. Could be even smth artistic. Maybe even an arch made up of vines. But this is not designed by having humans in mind.
Huh… I thought they were just going to continue the stairs in the same style. Not sure how I feel about the design, but I guess it’s better then current situation. Also it would be nice if they clean up the areas on the sides of cascade and plant some trees there while they’re at it. Any info on when they will start the construction?
