    1. Not throwing an accusation out, but what does an american even look like? Is it the 50s? lol Id guess ethnically hispanic but even then… Youre american.

Uh, she sounds very unprofessional. Was the consultant 40+ white woman?

My reference points may be weak, but thanks to the magic of Television, I’d say you indeed look like a Mexican to me 🙂

    4. What’s with everyone saying the Philippines? Is it the moustache?

Or maybe just something this: brown, however not an arab -> err Philippines maybe??

      The Honolulu is genuinely weird…

I really can’t tell ”races” apart well and honestly I don’t care

Basically I know if someone’s not from Europe and maybe can tell they’re Asian if they are. No further. Like just let people be what they are how does the race matter, come on

I am pretty sure I see a solid bloke there.

In my opinion, you look american. I would not bat an eye if you would say that you are from USA.

I have to agree with the Phillipine comments, but I will also say if you’re bringing legit Mexican food to this part of the world we might have to be friends 😂

First you should understand that most of finns arent that nuanced in the mixed / black identity that americans usually have. Most of us are ignorant enough to think black means mostly africans, and we have no idea what „black identity“ can mean to alot of mixed people, especially light skin ones.

My guess wouldve been that u definitely look like a mix of black and some filipine / other island in that region.

In short, its just an innocent ignorancy, we just arent that educated in these topics.

U look Like The Mom Guy from Nepal in My locality ( Not being Racist)

Since you asked, my first reaction was Austronesian (Philippines to Hawaii?). But then maybe a little bit of Siberian Asian (Northeast Asia)? Ethnically ambiguous. You look very friendly in any case!

    11. As a Mexican I can safely say you are one of us who has been blessed with the curse of constantly being mistaken for asian (I have it to and get mistaken for native or Philippino all the time) 😂

My first thought is tanned person from Central Asia, Kazakhstan or something like that.

Don’t judge them for having a stereotype of “American people” in their mind. U look cool and I’d also have guessed Mexican heritage

I actually thought Hawaiian too. Or Pacific Islander. It is kinda funny (and a bit racist) that white people’s faces are just their faces but a poc face needs a backstory.
