Exports for February 2024 – $1.625 billion, which is almost 3 times more than for February 2023. A couple of years ago this figure was reached in half a year, not a month. Imports – $1.523 billion. These are unprecedented figures, but I guess this growth is due to one item of foreign trade (gemstones).

I just hope that regular people get to enjoy the benefits of this and profits don’t go only to the hands of a few. Nonetheless I hope at the same time that armenia’s coffers continue to fill and it’s institutions continue to strengthen.
I would like to hear from an economists thoughts on this trend.
