is poland still on this list, after the ukrainian war?

I don’t think this accurate for Poland anymore.

Haiti as a single ethnic group nation is fundamentally contradictory imo

Dont think Armenia is accurate anymore. Massive Russian influx following the war. Lot of Indians too.

Shit map. Missing: South Korea, Albania, Portugal.
Technically Egypt would meet the criteria too.

South Korea is wrong

Taiwan? Majority ethnic Han

To be fair most European countries were like this a few decades ago

I think 90% is a better cutoff for this. China and South Korea are often cited as examples of nation-states, and they’re both in the 90-95% range.

There are 2.3 million registered foreigners living in Poland. This is around 6% of the population. It’s a close call, but Poland shouldn’t be on this map.

I think Bangladesh is a controversial one, considering Hindus and Muslims in South Asia are more like ethno-religious groups than just religion

I feel like 95% is a bit too high of a threshold. 90% seems more reasonable to be considered as single-ethnic nations imo.

Cambodia is actually a little surprising

I’m almost certain that all Brazilians consider themselves Brazilian, and we don’t have 12 million immigrants living in the country, which would represent 5% of the population, so the map is incorrect.

Philippines? Indonesia? Malaysia?
