Can’t wait for $100k over MSRP markups. Only for the values to crash like that cyber truck.

Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode with the reservations. They know how to take a reservation but not how to hold one

    3. „Tell you what, each of you give us a quarter million dollars in advance, and we’re gonna call it a deposit rather than a fundraising drive…“

Is it like Star Citizen? Will you get parts of your car but you may not live long enough to see the whole car?

    5. You know how to take the reservation, you just don’t know how to hold it.

Of course they will! After all we have the Hyperloop, full self driving, the Cybertruck was a massive success, and the first colonization mission to Mars in underway!

    7. Whole thing is probably filled with a gigantic tank of air that lasts for maybe 5 seconds of use.

Never going to be a real car, it’s pure gimmick.

Because it doesn’t exist.  The video is only out there to give hookup to the upcoming shitty quarterly results.

At this point, anyone giving Elon money is a fool. Just set your money on fire and be done with it.

    10. It’s like the Trump Phone! These guys just keep pulling the same grift and the same morons keep falling for it.

    12. The deposit for the 2017 roadster was $250,0000. Since then, the S&P500 has doubled twice. If these fools had invested that deposit instead of giving the richest man on the planet a free loan, they’d have a million bucks right now.

So the same as the last roadster? 250k deposits turned into a 250k interest free loan for a car that never got produced. Who falls for this grift anymore.

All their deposit money was spent on that propaganda stunt the other day. Enjoy!

    15. IllRadish8765 on

Of course not. Anyone not a complete slobbering idiot would understand that it was a stunt car.

No one is getting one, it’s vapor ware just like all the other great ideas he’s shown. Anyone remember that tunnel company? Or his humanoid robots?

„You’re completely wrong this isnt a con, or stock price boost thing or a cash grab.“ Tesla marks lining up to buy one.

      Hahahahahahahahahahaha

    18. they already launched a roadster and took money and never delivered, anyone who falls for it this time has no one to blame but themselves

    19. ReportOne620 on

At this point the Roadster reservation is just a zero-interest loan to Tesla.

Didn’t they see what happened with the Cybertruck? These people are idiots
