    1. SS: Billionaire class importing cheap labor to undercut local economy. Then use culture war to divert from their profits. Yet the masses fall for it every single time

    2. Ok, so this sucks obviously and OP is totally justified in their rage and they have both a moral and functional argument.

However…what a lot of people don’t understand is that in order to remain competitive and maintain your fiduciary responsibility to your shareholders (which are other people who’s economic future relies on the success of your company, so you’re just fucking over another group of people) you have to do things like this otherwise you will be outcompeted and go out of business and then all the jobs and services that you are providing to Americans will disappear as well.

So it’s more complicated than that….

What’s the fix? Well there are a few things that can be done, but almost none of them revolve around putting the onus on the CEOs. The primary fix involves some kind of legislation that forces other corporations to play by the same rules (of only hiring local workers, which is something that they are trying right now and hopefully it pans out, although I have my doubts), that way you aren’t at risk of being outcompeted.

    3. The American attitude of „however I can get this cheaper is good“ finally comes home to roost

Ya’ll fucked around making society run on greed. Now ya’ll finding out.

blaming immigrants is basic class war redirection. hate the immigrants not the people that hired them to save a buck. there is a reason the government isn’t prosecuting people hiring illegal immigrants and pushes an anti immigrant agenda.

    5. Those kids can still earn a good living if they want to actually do the work. The main conspiracy is they have used the phones and technology to make people lazy. You don’t find many white people willing to do paint, drywall, roofing , flooring, and concrete etc. You also see the electrical and mechanical trades hiring more Latinos. The jobs are out there.

    6. Farmers and production companies all do this. Roofing is just the closest example of this in a bubble. But I know Juan and his guys are going to do it faster, cheaper and better.

    7. Yup. It’s a big circular argument. People will say “oh only immigrants are willing to do this hard labor at a competitive wage” but if the immigrants weren’t here, the market would force higher wages for the same job and natural born citizens would fill the gap.

    8. There is a reason so many are pro illegal immigration. They love the cheap slave labor

you think the billionaires are bringing people over for framing and drywall? you don’t think the local small business owners are benefiting from this arrangement? and this post is literal Christian nazi blood and soil shit, there aren’t tons of 22 year old neets going to church so why even mention pews and tons of people in their 30s and 40s can’t afford to buy homes either. this STINKS

Unaffordable housing because of a 6% cheaper framing crews. wtf you talking about.

The real conspiracy is this constant culture/politic/race/etc war. Including this dumb-ass post.

    11. Fuck. Thank you.

I’m a local politician, I’ll make a point of this at the next council meeting.

You who is reading this ought to do the same if you have a platform. We’re elected to help the voters, not the rich.

    12. Conspiracy sub going after the Petite Bourgeoisie? lol Complete that circle for me homie.

    13. This is true, but it’s also true there are some jobs so few US Americans are willing to do at anywhere the going rate that we need to use immigrant labor. We would see riots on the streets over food prices if we had to pay farm workers wages high enough to get citizens to do that job.
