      Musk is, of course, obnoxious. But it’s very sketchy when public officials in high offices complain about “harassment”. If you choose to be a public figure, then you sign up for people saying unpleasant, annoying, and even untrue things about or at you, potentially very loudly; you sign up for potential campaigns against your opinions and policy choices; and you sign up for scrutiny far more invasive than would be appropriate for a private individual. Remember when Trump was calling his impeachments “presidential harassment”? Suppressing such “harassment” always results in unchecked corruption.

      He’s been interfering in their politics for years, pumping out hate and disinformation on an industrial scale, it’s genuinely insane they allow him to control the algorithms/content their citizens see everyday

      Of course, X should follow EU regulations in EU and Elon should not interfere with Europe’s internal affairs, but..

      Ukraine needs Starlink. French Eutelsat is already used to provide intel, but is far behind Starlink.

      Elon will spit again his venom and I hope it will not go any further, until Europe is really able to fully support Ukraine and has viable alternatives to US social networks.

      The richest men on earth, tech billionaires (ie Musk, Thiel) goal is to destroy this current global system of things and install boundary-less techno authoritarian states with mass surveillance run by corporations around the world.  They don’t want democracy.  This is what concentration of wealth looks like: a worldwide coup. Tech billionaires are the enemy of humankind.

      They use tactics of fear and anger to drum up votes and support. It’s a very common practice of populism, fascism and dictators. This is how Trump got voted in.

      If Musk were to engage in criminal harassment of world leaders with intent to harm democracy, who would stop him? Trump is a documented criminal and has done much to protect other criminals. Musk would have free reign to do anything he wanted. Republicans control Congress, the Supreme Court, and the White House, and they have proven they are comfortable with corruption and treason.

      So China was right with their firewall against US interference. 

      French and EU wont have guts nor capabilities to block Meta and Google services.
