This guy is a blight on the planet. And yet he’s the guy that is the representative of America.

    2. BananasPineapple05 on

DJT saying this is as good a guarantee as any that it will never happen.

Guy wouldn’t know how anything works if someone was besides him at all times to tell him, in simple terms and small steps, how things work.

He’s playing his greatest hits again! 🎶 Must be an election coming.

    4. By ‚it‘, he’s referring to the American economy which is hurdling towards bankruptcy.

    5. Watched the video. Just the cheers on his ridiculous statements make me lose faith in humanity

Just remember, we are all mortal. Trump is a fat 80 year old. I await the day the good news comes.

The only way *what* works? And why the fuck would we care if „it works“ for them if they don’t care if „it works“ for us?

As an ex-military member who would like to live a life of peace and quiet.

      If an invasion ever happens.

I’ll be first in line to join up and use my counter-terrorism training to its strengths and happily create numerous IEDs and blend in with the invaders to gather intelligence.

They thought Vietnam was bad, wait till they get Vietnam 2.0 with people who can get into their country.

    9. Bro needs to come up with new material, because his schtick is boring. He’s obviously terrified of the midterms and trying to play the hits.

    10. DrexxValKjasr on

Why can’t the media start to ignore him? If he was filtered more he would waste more time trying to get attention and less time making war plans.

    11. Electricprez on

Stop giving this guys’ rhetoric oxygen. He’s getting what he wants every time we report on his asinine claims.

    12. 2 bottles of milk and then 400% tariffs? Lol.

Do not go to the US. Do not go to an Arizona. The people clapping for madman make me sick.

    13. KorbenDallas86 on

Rapist mentality but it’s uncharacteristic for Chump because Canada is older than 12.

    14. ThicccThunder on

The US doesn’t need anything from Canada but also happens to be obsessed with Canada.

Is anyone surprised that a man who was found liable for r*pe doesn’t know what the meaning of “No” is?

    15. Is dementia Donny cycling back to this BS again? I will celebrate the day I never have to read his name in a headline again.

    16. What else will it take for more Canadians to stop giving $ to this MAGA regime by still travelling there and not making any changes to the products or services they buy from the U.S. or made for US companies? Stop giving fuel by way of your $ to this party!

    17. sentimentaleyes on

Wait, didn’t I just read a news story about him warning us to keep our nose out of US politics?!? 🫩

    18. Admirable_Pirate5376 on

The American military historically has done poorly to retain captured states that utilized guerrilla tactics. It would be really hard to distinguish a Canadian and an American when we look exactly the same in civilian clothing (maybe not with hockey jerseys). There’s a large veteran community with ied experience from the war we “didn’t do a thing to help with”. The whole notion is complete and utter chaos for everyone involved. A terrible idea.

Also Canada is tied with Switzerland for first place among most liked countries in the world. I believe there would be fallout from that.

    19. Any Canadian politician who shows an interest for the the US administration will never get my vote.

    20. If he doesn’t need Canada, then why does he constantly talk about taking over Canada? He knows they need us.

      Orange little trash

    21. . This also comes across yet again as an extreme threat to our sovereignty and should be treated as such.

We won’t be annexed, we won’t be the 51st state. And the republicans won’t win. NATO also would be kicked off. There’s no way this plays out

    22. HardstButton2Button on

Manifest Destiny and American Exceptionalism will always live on in the US, which is why Canada needs to diversify and pivot from the US as best possible and stop the integration of American Corporations and Private Equity into Canada.

We have always been more aligned and shared common values with the EU/CANZUK and need to merge with them as best we can because the US has always been, and will always be, Canada’s biggest threat to sovereignty.

    23. It’s clear that Canada should buy as little military hardware from the US as possible.

We should remember that 40% of Americans say they will vote Republican in the midterms. That means that despite the economic harm, the war with Iran, the friendship with Putin and Kim, large numbers of our neighbours are in favour of these threats to annex us. Remember when you plan your next vacation.

    24. FixGullible4636 on

I’d say if push came to shove absolutely zero Americans would be interested in starting a war with Canada that would bleed into their own precious country, which would include damage to their infrastructure and lives lost.

Realistically DJT is a rambling Buffon with ever diminishing popularity even with his own voter base.

Old man (with access to nukes) yells at clouds.

Donald Chump will do anything to distract from his biography (the Epstein Files) and his Iran war, among other issues.

    27. YellowBanana1976 on

At some point the rantings of this demented president will equate to a declaration of war.

    28. That’s funny, Canada’s been a sovereign nation since 1867 without being part of the USA. If the USA doesn’t want free trade, that’s unfortunate, not because Canada wants privileged access to the US market but because simple geographic incentives will naturally cause trade to occur, and it is in the best interest of both countries to lower barriers to trade as long as we are on the same continent.

“Because that’s the only way it works”, one is compelled to wonder what “it” refers to?

    29. jessycormier on

It’s a distraction again so we act a specific way and it shapes how some groups in America see us and to rally up support. It’s noise and nonsense to us (even threatening). My question is what’s the real agenda.

    30. Everywhereslugs on

And here’s his idiot ambassador Hoekstra saying today that “Canada must stay out influencing US politics”. Fuck Trump and his stupid fever dreams. Same shit, different day from him.

    31. Lexi_Banner on

The only way *what* works, exactly? His idiotic plans for world dominance?

    32. Americans just have a different worldview, and they couldn’t simply comprehend that the world doesn’t revolve around them, and what they think is good for them should be good for everyone is just ridiculous.

    33. whatsmypassword73 on

I’ll die Canadian before I become American and I won’t go down without a fight.

I am not alone in that.

    34. DistanceToEmpty on

And their ambassador just told us not to interfere with their election… Not that there was any evidence of that happening. Their direct caldestine support for Alberta and Québec seperatist however…

    35. BigOlBearCanada on

He doesn’t like that we said no.

I’m surprised he’s interested in us. we are older than 13 years old.

    36. If America can’t survive without taking over Canada, that says more about America than Canada.
