Heutzutage werden die Preise hier lächerlich, das muss an dieser Stelle sicherlich ein Witz sein.
Wie ist es möglich, dass 248 g Huhn so viel Geld kosten? Selbst bei höheren Löhnen und Produktionskosten der Landwirte scheint das hier ziemlich übertrieben zu sein.

Because people pay it. Look at Lidl and Aldi, sometimes you pay almost half there for the same chicken pieces with same „animal standards“
One of the reasons i started buying whole chickens and cut them up myself.
for example, Migros pouletbrust from optigal (CH meat), 3.30 CHF/100g.. so no you just bought the most expensive one there is. Also ALDI/LIDL are cheaper than Migros
I always buy at denner, 12.70 chf/kg
Just go to the US and eat some antibiotic resistant salmonella for a third the price if you dont like it. The doors of the world stand open. If you dislike it move on.
Bigler is a brand that promotes „Made from a butcher“, so it’s more expensive of course. This is not a „prices these days“, this is just a expensive product. I agree though, prices are raising.

That’s the price you pay for swiss meat. If you want to pay cheap prices buy chicken from another country but the quality is not the same and you don’t support our agriculture.
The chickens don’t live in the same conditions either
Lidl is your friend.
You get what you pay for, as always. There is also low quality chicken for 10-15 CHF / kg.
If you pick the expensive one, it will be expensive.

There are other options also. Many a times available at 50% off.
Well, you cant complain if u take the most expensive one….
Migros does have it for around 20-25Fr.- per kg.
If you are lucky, you can find them even 40-50% off additonally.
Also, its cheaper to buy a whole chicken instead only parts….. you are paying the company to cut and package them.
complaining about high meat prices is equal to demanding more animal abuse to get it made cheaper.

at the end of the day, you pay for a chicken and the work it took to get the meat you want. people have no relationship to how expensive meat actually should be
So you eat less meat in accordance with WHO recommendations. 🙃
