      Way more logical than what has been decided. But that region is very rich in oil and needs to be in conflicts.

    4. Kurdistan would have been a good idea. But separating Arabs into 4 countries just reeks of typical white imperialist shenanigans.

      As if life was a map painting game. Drawing borders on a map from ten thousand miles away, like Europeans did in Africa.

      Definity I can’t find „China“ from this map, the US was different at the moment, I assume that Anglo-„Chinese“ alliance wasn’t formed yet.

      30 years later, the US brought Turkey into NATO, provided Marshall Plan aid, and deployed nuclear weapons there.

    8. The bigger question is, would these be independent or fall under colonial control as historically?

      Looks pretty clear that US was looking for these to be independent, which in turn explains why this was tossed aside for British and French partitions and lines.

      This is surprisingly objective (and obviously preferable to the shitshow England and France saddled us with) for a budding colonial power to propose.
