Even if Lula were to turn it around and win in the run-off, he wouldn’t have Congress and the Senate. It’s a full-on right swing. Brazil would essentially be paralyzed for 4 years.

Given how much Bolsonaro outperformed the polls and that all of the other candidates essentially are going to have their votes primarily switched to him, its hard to see Lula winning the run off.
