>Eunha, SinB and Umji sign exclusive contracts with UNCORE… “Discussions with former agency ongoing over use of team name”
>
>UNCORE announced officially on the 5th, “We have signed exclusive contracts with the three members Eunha, SinB and Umji. The three members have been together for a long time since their debut in 2015 demonstrating their individual capabilities through solid teamwork and a wide range of activities. We will spare no support in various areas so that they can continue to carry out active promotions together as a team going forward.”
>
>They further explained, “We have been in discussions with their former agency regarding the use of their existing team name but due to differences of opinion over the conditions that were proposed, we have not yet reached a final agreement.”
>
>They added, “With the swift and stable resumption of the three members’ activities as our top priority, we are also considering having them promote under a new team name.” Accordingly, the team name and specific plans for their activities will be announced at a later date.
Uncore getting serious 👀👀👀 wonder if cye might end up permanent? Podol has pretty much lost everyone so wonder if they’d sell minwook and kenshin?

One Hundred has both no money and no shame. Trying to hang onto the Viviz name when they can’t even use it because the members are gone? Man I cannot stand that company.

We are so back, also I hope they can get Viviz name back too. BPM is so frustrating, if you can’t pay them at least release the copyright or make it easier.

Both FUCK YEAH VIVIZ IM SO PROUD OF YOUUUUU and FUCK YOU BPM100 immediately went through my brain. Both are valid, lmao. I can’t believe BPM100 has literally three cents to their name and they have the audacity to not give Viviz their name and catalogue.
I don’t know much about UNCORE, but CYE seems to be doing okay? Either way, they’re seasoned veterans now, and can mostly do their own thing if they’re given the freedom, so I hope they got good terms. I am so ridiculously proud of them for their resilience and strength, and I hope they get everything they want and more.

Well the good news is that Uncore has been great at getting CYE unique and awesome music that has helped them shine. I hope they will be able to keep Viviz on a similarly good sonic journey that fits them well. I wasn’t following them super- closely but every title track I heard from them was so good and I was worried we wouldn’t hear from them again.

I never liked the name Viviz but it would be unfair for the members if they had to rebrand again, they would lose all their previous exposure

staying together through multiple agency changes? That’s lifetime bond shit right there, wishing the best for them always

Good for them that the music direction can be unique but on the other hand this company sent their group to Russia for a a concert before so take that as you will

They have better luck fighting for the GFRIEND name back, even as 3. Best of luck to them.

One step closer to having them back. BPM and 100 need to do the right thing and give the IP and everything else to the members directly. Not sell, give. They owe the members a lot of money. Best way to settle is to give the IP and everything else over (like BBC did with MMT).
I’m still a bit worried about Uncore’s parent company’s financial troubles; but, Uncore seems pretty isolated from that at the moment.

Damn I missed a chapter! Maniac just came on shuffle and I was looking up what happened to them. Hope they get to keep the name.
