      Was this on a tripod with tracking and long exposure ?

      Asking because someday I’d like to camp out in dark sky areas like this and wonder if it’s feasible to point a phone up and take a picture trembling this. Or if it’s gonna require more time/money/effort.

      We are literally heading to Yellowstone right now. I know I wanted to show the kids a glimpse into the Milky Way if possible (yes, I know it isn’t peak time). Seeing Andromeda too would be unreal. We have too much light pollution where we live back on the east coast. 😖

      The blue tint of the sky reminded me of pictures from Ladybird’s *The Night Sky*

      op were you able to see this with your naked eye or is this something only the camera could see? blows my mind that there are places so dark you can see things like this
