Pff what does the ISW know about war anyway? It’s not like they study it institutionally or anything.
I think we should all go with the Supreme Commander on this one. Absolutely yes, Russia gained 1301 sq km in September. Actually it was twice that. It was 5 times that. 6805 sq km. (Don’t forget the 5.) Russia is halfway to Kyiv. Russia is on the verge of taking Lviv. Update all the maps in the Kremlin.
And now that Russia is doing so well, have Putin take a quick drive to Russian-occupied Kharkiv City for a photo op. Bring the entire upper echelon of the military and security services. It will be grand. Perfectly safe, see the map says so.
