I’m just glad my ‘Agentic account’ on RH is separate from my main one. Time to play 😅

No thanks. I’ll lose my money the old fashioned way, with reckless abandon and speculation.

      >Robinhood’s new offering also comes with a series of guardrails that the company says will prevent agents from behaving in an unexpected manner.

Will the guardrails prevent people from making serious profit or that wont be part of the „unexpected manners“?

    4. I can think of so many ways they can use this to find excuses. Excuses to keep you from withdrawing, and much more.

    5. Wow, robbinhood is still around?

I thought they were nuked off the internet back when people learned they were selling access to their trade data to larger firms while delaying trades that allowed those larger firms to buy/sell trends before the robbinhood platform was able to. I seem to remember they also locked out game stop sales for this exact reason…

But i’m sure this AI trading agent that will trade on your behalf won’t somehow turn into some kind of exploitive structure in the same avenue.

This is reckless… do they even backtest their bot strategies or are they trying to get people to lose money?

What could go wrong? Robin Hood with their great trading records and ability to trade plus the rougeness of AI

Where do I tell my keys to??

Anthropic just warned that „AI provided an exitstential risk to humanity“. Also, before it literally starts killing us, lets give it the keys to your personal finances.

Ive been testing trading ai agents for the better part of a year and no matter how sophisticated the agent has been the underlying philosophy has always failed because no edge or profitable strategy can be found. This will most likely be a gimmick to onboard new customers who quickly find theyve lost a lot of money

“We’re making Robinhood the best place in the world for active traders by delivering tools once reserved for hedge funds, big banks, and quant firms.”

      But I’ve got ChatGPT.

    11. This actually might make everyone money no? Those ai will see the same patterns, advice the same buys, and cause the rise themselves.

    12. Coughs….

Using your money to beta test ai market bots.

      They win both ways

Tibbir is going to have such a massive run when it’s coming out of stealth

    14. Reddit loves to act like everyone hates AI, meanwhile more and more posts and comments are obviously being written or polished by it. I use it myself so the patterns get pretty easy to spot. The funny part is that adoption is happening whether people admit it or not. This is just the beginning.

HFT will yet get another advantage for testing strategies and then quickly trading against those odds in realtime. the retail player has no defense.
