What these people fail to understand is that their respective organizations (and, by extension, the small circle of people who actually control them) allowed them to “lead” precisely because they were the lowest common denominator: non-threatening, compliant, and known to take direction from their handlers.

    2. Better question: Why are villains romanticized and humanized in fiction and on screen.

Hollywood trends are very telling about how its *owners* see themselves, view the world and how they want to steer public

Because real life isn’t a movie. Movies make villains cool for marketing, unique stories, and at times, an attempt to draw a connection between them and the viewer.

The puppets „running“ the world and the ones controlling them are creeps, old, Luciferian worshippers, pedophiles, and lack any kind of charm the average human would find admirable. Most of society has been too conditioned and programmed to fight against each other to see this ugly truth

    4. They’re not genius polymaths but pseudo-intelligent sycophants, whose primary expertise is in exploiting legal loopholes… and they’re inhumanely deranged

I’m a evil villain but I don’t do any of that I just plan in world domination for free steam games

Because people like you and me inherently do not care about other people that you don’t know. For example, you might find thanos cool, but if you lived in that universe and thanos made your parents, wife, or children disappear, you would not find thanos cool anymore.

Also because they’re ugly, fat, or have no impressive qualities

They’re not only ugly but evil. So they try to compensate for that by gaining ‘power’

Look at their faces, their life and what they decided to do with it.

Then compare with others deemed as insane, like Ramirez and Kemper. There’s more sanity in Ramirez’s randomness than there is in some of these guys‘ choices.
