I am no scientist myself, but I do understand it is not easy conducting these space missions with robots and such. However, I have always wondered why Europa and Enceladus are not being searched for life, as these moons each have more water than Earth. Enceladus has proven liquid water; why on Earth are we not going there to find microbial life? The ice alone can tell us so much. If anything, these moons are our best chance at finding life beyond Earth.
Can someone smarter than me explain, the article says that what they found salts and organic compounds when they flew Cassini through the plumes, and not life, and that is used to say “there totally could be life there”
If that was true, why wouldn’t Cassini have just found ***that?***
