Hope this works purely so that we can have another crew module other than SpaceX, I trust that NASA will make sure it’s safe to use.
I just don’t get why Jared is murdering SLS(which is extremely over budget and behind schedule I will admit) and simping for Starliner so hard(which caused a Type A mishap). Starliner proved just how unreliable and dangerous it is almost 2 years ago while SLS has had two nearly 100% nominal missions.
Sidenote, do you think it would be sensible to convince SpaceX to sell the Dragon and all the tooling and mate it to another rocket?
I think that despite the setbacks, this is the right move for both Boeing and NASA. I’m at least hopeful given that Boeing’s new CEO is actually an engineer.
